Germany The EC-135 in the German Army has replaced the Alouette II. The helicopter is used for pilot training. It has a digital cockpit, auto-pilot and a flight-management system. Japan In 2009, Japan ordered 2 EC-135T2i's for the Navy with a possible second order for 3 more and a possible 3rd order for a total fleet of 15 EC-135's. The EC-135's will be used to train naval pilots. The first EC-135T2i was delivered to the Japanese Navy on December 2, 2009.
