The Puma is a new armored vehicle for the German Army. It has been developed by Rheinmetall Landsystemen and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann working.
There will be 2 versions: A and C. The A version is meant for peacekeeping operations and the C version is the A with extra armor protection. The Puma has also have Softkill infrared decoys to detect and destroy incoming anti-tank profiles. To use advanced electronics digitaling from radar detectingsystems the puma has large displays.
The crew consists of a driver, commander, gunner and 6 troops with equipment. By camera systems the infantries can see what's going on outside the vehicle. The puma is also equipped with NBC protection.
